Albuquerque is home to a thriving brewery scene! We have several top-notch local breweries, along with a few wineries where you can taste red wine and other sparkling creations. The next time you're looking for a relaxing place to sip and socialize, our real estate agents recommend checking out one of these wineries or breweries.
- Casa Rodena: 733 Chavez Rd., Los Ranchos De Albuquerque, NM 87107
Casa Rodena is a winery known for its unique architecture and stunning views. They have a tasting room that's open daily from noon - 7 pm. Stop by to enjoy a tasting flight or a glass of your favorite wine. One of their best-known wines is their Viognier, which is crisp, light, and perfect for the hot New Mexico summer. Shining River, a blend of Chardonnay and Aromella, is another favorite.
Casa Rodena was established in 1995, and their tasting room features a commemorative bell tower. Their vintner, John Calvin, has been named "Best Vintner" by Albuquerque Magazine several years in a row.
- Gruet Winery: 8400 Pan American Freeway N.E., Albuquerque, NM 87113
Gruet Winery specializes in creating wines that exemplify New Mexico's unique climate and soil quality. The dry soils and high elevations in the region result in wines that are rich, complex, and full-bodied. Their Grand Rose Cuvee Danielle is popular with rosé drinkers. Customers also love their Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.
Gruet's Albuquerque tasting room is open Monday - Wednesday from 11 am - 7 pm and Thursday - Saturday 11 am - 9 pm. The founder was born in France and has been in the wine-making industry for many years.
- Canteen Brewhouse: 2381 Aztec N.E. Albuquerque, NM 87107
Canteen Brewhouse is known not only for their beer, but also for their great food. This would be a great place to grab a pint and some appetizers with a few friends. Their La Luz Wheat is a great choice if you're looking for a lighter beer. Or, if you like darker brews, try the Dark and Lusty Stout.
The German Pretzels at Canteen Brewhouse are a real hit. If you're looking for a full meal, try the Big Bavarian Brat or the Alpine, which is a roast beef sandwich with caramelized onions and Dijon mustard.
- Marble Brewing Company: 111 Marble Ave. N.W., Albuquerque, NM 87102
Marble Brewing Company is a large taproom with plenty of outdoor space. While they don't have a food menu, they do regularly have food trucks on-site. They're known for their bold beers, such as the Double White, which is a Belgian-style wheat ale brewed with spices. Desert Fog, with notes of pineapple and grapefruit, is another favorite.
Marble Brewing Company also offers brewery tours. Visiting food trucks include Ace's Fry Guy, Don Coche, and Los Pookies.
- Steel Bender Brewyard: 8305 2nd St. NW, Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, NM 87114

Steel Bender Brewyard has a good selection of barrel-aged beers, but they also have some lighter, fruitier options like Raspberry Dynamite and Lloyd's Picnic Kolsch. This summer, they're featuring Cherry Dynamite, a sour made with real sour cherries, and it is proving to be quite a hit.
