• Old Town Holiday Stroll - 303 Romero St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104
  Some of the most spectacular Christmas lights in Albuquerque can be found in the historic Old Town district. This lively neighborhood at the heart of the city is convenient to many Albuquerque homes for sale, and every year, it hosts the Old Town Holiday Stroll to kick off the holiday season, complete with a tree lighting ceremony, live entertainment, and festive street vendors. This year's Old Town Holiday Stroll takes place on December 6 from 5 to 9 pm, but don't fret if you miss it—the lights will be up through the end of the year!
  
  
• River of Lights - 2601 Central Ave NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104
  Now in its 27th season, River of Lights has become one of Albuquerque's most beloved holiday traditions. Every year, this immersive holiday experience returns to the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden. New Mexico's largest walk-through lights show, River of Lights, brings the garden to life with 700 unique, hand-welded displays, 3D sculptures, and animatronics along a 1.6-mile path, totaling more than a million individual lights. River of Lights runs from November 30 through December 30, with the exception of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
  
  
• Winter Wonderland NM -  300 San Pedro Dr. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108
  A drive-through holiday experience that takes place every year at EXPO NM, Winter Wonderland NM is one of the best large-scale, family-friendly holiday attractions in the state. Complete with vendors, dazzling lights, and a chance to have a photo taken with Santa Claus himself, the 2024 Winter Wonderland features a walk-through area as well as a drive-through experience. The event takes place every Thursday through Sunday throughout the holiday season. Tickets are sold by the vehicle (up to 5 people), so bring the whole family!
  
  
• Twinkle Light Parade - Central Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106
  Returning every holiday season to Albuquerque's Nob Hill area, the Twinkle Light Parade is a holiday community celebration. Hundreds of cars, floats, bikes, and marching bands take part in the parade, which is sponsored by numerous area businesses, schools, and community organizations. The Twinkle Light Parade takes place on Saturday, December 14, starting at 5:30 pm and follows a route down a 1-mile stretch of Central Avenue (formerly Route 66). The street will be closed to traffic starting at 3 pm, making it a great opportunity to visit the local shops along the parade route on foot. 
  
  
• Albuquerque Trolley of Lights - 800 Rio Grande Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104
  You'll see some of the city's best holiday light displays when you join ABQ Trolley Co. for a guided trolley tour this December. Albuquerque Trolley of Lights Tours depart from the Hotel Albuquerque daily at 6 pm from December 13 through 24. Lasting roughly 75 to 90 minutes, the trolleys will take you on a festive, romantic, moonlit tour that includes Old Town Plaza, Rio Grande Blvd., and the Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque
